In 1971, I was a high school
teacher. I made $7,800 a year. I did something smart. I bought a

Here I was, a teacher with a clear plan to become financially independent. It was music to my ears. It was a beautiful symphony. I asked Don if I could be a landlord, "Bill, just love your tenants. Every month they will give you their money to pay off your mortgage. You borrow money. Your tenants pay the money back. Love your tenants. Your investment is their home. The overwhelming majority of people respect their homes. If you have a problem, you know what to do; you just pick up the phone. It's not rocket science." Think about Don's advice.
