The Shipwreck

Hi, I'm Martial Arts Master Bill FitzPatrick

The ONLY survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island.

Alone and desperate EVERY night, the poor man PRAYED to be rescued.

BUT, day after day after day

There was NO sign of rescue.

With time, The man managed to build a small hut from scarps he found

Just a small hut As protection from the elements, and to cover his few possessions.

Then another disaster

ONE night, after having SCAVENGED ALL day for food,

the man arrived back at his camp

to find his little hut in flames

NOW THIS NOW

The WORST had happened;

Now

EVERYTHING was lost.

He was OVERWHELMED with grief,

With anger

and despair.

"God, ENOUGH, how could you do this to me!" he cried.

Early the next day,

he was AWAKENED by the sound of an approaching ship.

HE WAS SAVED

He asked the captain of the ship,

"How did you know I was here?"

The captain replied,

"OH, we saw your SMOKE signal."
