Hi, I'm Martial Arts Master Bill FitzPatrick
One morning, an old man was walking along a beach.
Off in the distance he could see a person
going back and forth between
the surf's edge and the beach.
Back and forth.
Back and forth
Over and over again
Back and forth
As the old man approached he could see that the person was in fact, a young boy
who was tossing starfishes back into the sea -
one by one by one
There were MILES of these starfish
hundreds - thousands
The man chuckled at the laughable futility of the boy's task.
The old man said to the boy,
"Kid, You must be CRAZY.
The whole beach is covered with starfish.
Get real, tossing back those starfish one at a time
One by one CAN'T possibly make a difference."
The boy stopped to pick up ONE more starfish and threw that ONE starfish back into the ocean.
The Boy - then - said to the old man,
"You're right , but, it will make a difference to that ONE!"
