Plod forever but never believe you’re going to get there.”

On his first attempt to climb Mount Everest, Sir Ranulph Fiennes had a heart attack.

He returned to England to undergo a double by-pass heart operation.

Back to adventure.

On his second attempt, he had to quit from exhaustion.

No excuses.

Finally, at age 65, on his third attempt, he made it to the top of the world.

His anti-positive mantra, step by gruelling step,

“Plod forever but never believe you’re going to get there.”

A professional adventurer, when he puts his mind to a task, Sir Ranulph is persistent and determined.
