There is a very dangerous person following you everywhere. It is your undisciplined self. Do you text while driving? Do you cross the street distracted on your cell phone? Do you eat a poor diet and avoid exercise? Do you speed or road rage? Do you enjoy evening swims alone? Do you like to show off in biker bars? Do you enable an abuser? Do you smoke or cover up a drug dependency? Do you always narcissistically push and always insist on getting your own way? Of course, you can never protect yourself from all dangers. Be prepared. However, the odds are overwhelming that you are the greatest threat to your own self-defense. Don't blame anybody. Look in the mirror. When the odds are 70% in their favor, the Marines go, go, go.
